# Quickstart

Two open endpoints are enough for a first result: RES parcel search returns the parcel's EGRID, and revenoo values that EGRID.

1. **Find a parcel**

   Search by field conditions. This asks for one parcel in Zürich between 1,000 and 1,200 m².

   The answer is a GeoJSON `FeatureCollection`. The EGRID is `properties.parcel_id`, for example `CH427058999106`. Reference: [Search parcels](/res/search-parcels/).
2. **Value it**

   ```sh

   ```

   The summary holds the parcel, market rents of its municipality and the headline values of each method. The first call for an EGRID gathers its data and can take a few seconds; later calls come from cache. Reference: [Valuation summary](/revenoo/get-revenoo-summary/).
3. **Go further**

   - Change assumptions: POST `{ "assumptions": { ... } }` to the same URL ([What-if summary](/revenoo/value-revenoo-summary-with-assumptions/)).

## Conventions

- **EGRID** is the parcel identity everywhere, for example `CH427058999106`.
- **Coordinates** are WGS84 (EPSG:4326) unless a field says LV95 (EPSG:2056).
- **Errors:** send `X-RES-API-Version: 2` to RES to get real HTTP status codes and a JSON `{ "error": ... }` body on the older parcel endpoints.
- **Rate limit:** paths under `/api/` on `*.aireon.ch` allow 30 requests per 10 seconds per IP. Over it you get `429`; wait and retry.
