aireon-mcp turns the RES API into tools an AI assistant can call: one tool per RES operation in your packs, plus helpers such as list_endpoints, parcel_geometry and the WGS84 / LV95 converters. You need an Aireon account; sign up at hub.aireon.ch.
Server status (public): mcp.aireon.ch/mcp/healthz
Connect with OAuth (recommended)
Connector URL:
https://mcp.aireon.ch/mcp/oauthYou sign in with your Aireon account in the client; nothing secret is copied. To limit a client to one pack plus core, use https://mcp.aireon.ch/mcp/oauth/packs/<pack>.
- Open Settings, then Connectors, and click Add custom connector.
- Name:
Aireon. Remote MCP server URL: the connector URL. Leave the OAuth client ID and secret empty. - Click Add, then Connect, and sign in.
- In a new chat, switch the connector on from the tools menu.
- Open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector (Developer mode may need to be on).
- Paste the connector URL. Authentication: OAuth.
- Click Create and sign in.
- In a new chat, select the connector from the tools menu.
claude mcp add --transport http aireon https://mcp.aireon.ch/mcp/oauthStart claude, run /mcp and sign in. Add --scope user to use it in every project.
Key URL
For a client that cannot sign in, create a personal key on hub.aireon.ch/mcp and use https://mcp.aireon.ch/mcp/<AIMCP_KEY> as the connector URL, with no authentication. The URL is yours alone and counts against your quota: never share it, and rotate it on the same page if it leaks.
Try it
Ask: Get parcel CH427058999106 and summarize its zoning and site score. The answer should name the tools it used and quote real values such as the municipality and the zone. If it answers without a tool call, the connector is off for that chat.
Limits
- Only tool calls count against your quota; connecting and listing tools is free. Over the quota the server answers
429until it resets. - The PRM tools (
prm_parcels,prm_monitor,prm_list, …) read and write your own proom pipeline. They are on for OAuth and off for key URLs until you switch PRM access on at hub.aireon.ch/mcp.
